The St. Regis Chicago, formerly Wanda Vista Tower and also known as Vista Tower, rises 101 floors along the south bank of the Chicago River. The building was completed in 2020 and became the third tallest building in the city behind Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) and Trump Tower. It is the tallest building in the world designed by a woman, Jeanne Gang. It was built to architecturally compliment the nearby Aqua Tower that was also designed by Gang. The skyscraper houses a hotel as well as residential structures and, due to its height and design represents a striking addition to the Chicago skyline.
