The Late afternoon light on the Mountains of the Waterpocket Fold, coloring them a reddish golden color, as seen from Highway 24 in Utah USA. These mountains are part of a monocline which formed as part of the Laramide Orogeny in the late Cretaceous. It extends for almost 160km and are also the location of Capitol Reef National Park.
