To North Africa,Greece, Asia Minor, Turkestan and North-westIndia it appears to be a winter migrant to the presence of several closely allied racesor subspecies it is difficult to define the exact easternlimits of the typical Reed Bunting; but we mayassert that in one form or another it is found inmost parts of the entire Palaearctic region, south ofthe limits of forest growth.
