The last house remaining on the cliff top at Happisburgh was left overhanging by the storm surge of 5th/6th December 2013, The owner, Bryony Neirop-Reading was philosophical, having bought only five years ago for a price which reflected its short term prospects. More than a dozen properties have been lost to erosion at Happisburgh over the past two decades.
