Rye House Gatehouse
Situated next to the River Lea in Hertfordshire, Rye House Gatehouse is all that remains of a larger estate dating from 1443. It is one of the earliest brick built buildings in England and has a rich history, including the failed "Rye House Plot" to assassinate King Charles II.
