I have added Chisocheton parvifoliolus to Harms's (1937) synonymy: it is merely a specimen with small leaflets from Luzon, where plenty of intermediates have been collected. Type: Malaysia, Sabah, Sandakan, Sepilok Forest Reserve, Jalan Kantor Pos, behind 'Post Office', 9 May 1974, Mabberley 1676 (FHO!, holo; K!, iso). Small tree to c. 8 m. Twigs c. 4-0 mm diam. Leaves to 32-5 cm long; leaflets in c. 4 pairs, base cuneate, apex long-acuminate (acumen c. 15 mm), costae c. 13 on each side, petiolule to 5 mm long. Inflorescences to 30 cm long, weakly branched, proximal branches to 6 cm long. Fruit globose.
