There isone note of warning, andthat is that this tube giveslittle or no visible signof fluorescence, so thatextra precautions mustbe taken; otherwise,owing to its much greateroutput, a serious burncan be produced, themargin of safety beingpractically nil, where-as one cannot run theordinary form of tube continuously with a heavy current.
