When its wood has once been hardened, it bears buds as large and handsome as Marechal Niel. Madame Agatha Nabonnand — An exceedingly sweet and daintily beautiful Rose, resembling in its exquisite color the delicate tinting seen inside the fairest deep-sea shells—rosy flesh, bathed in golden amber. It has immense egg-shaped buds, broad, shell-like petals, and large, full flowers of beauti- ful form; free-flowering, and a great favorite for wearing. Madame Bravy — One of the most beautiful Roses in my collection. The flowers are large and round; the outside of bud is creamy and soft, with a most charming blush tinge to the center, and the arrangement of the inner petals is seldom equaled for beauty. Delicious tea scent. Louis Richard —A superb Rose imported from Trance. Extra large, splendid, full form; very double; delicious tea scent; ;olor, rich coppery rose, changing to buff, shaded with carmine; center sometimes brilliant rosy crimson. Jules Finger—A magnificent Rose, elegant and very val- uable. It has extra large and fine double flowers, which are full and sweet.
