The mighty Sava river as it flows southwards through the little village of Podnart, in Naklo Municipality, Gorenjska, Slovenia. The view from here is of Mount Stol (2236 m) the highest peak in the Karavanke mountain range which forms the border between Slovenia and Austria. Photo was taken in January after a fresh snowfall, hence the snowcapped peaks. The sava river is the longest in Slovenia (218kms).
