Finally in 1993, through the Archaeological National Fund it was planned and built the Museum of Cultures North as reciento to display these parts, but also made known the cultures of this cultural area of ??northern Mexico and southeastern United States. The building, built that year, was designed by architect Mario Schjetnan and has a modernist and integrated with the surrounding landscape desert style. It is semi buried and formed by a series of ramps and terraces that harmonize with their surroundings. The architectural project won the Grand Prize for Latin American Architecture Biennale in Buenos Aires in 1995. Las piezas arqueológicas encontradas en las ruinas de Paquimé durante muchos años se encontraron dispersas en diversos museos. Finalmente en 1993 y a través del Fondo Nacional Arqueológico se proyectó y construyó el Museo de las Culturas del Norte como reciento para exhibición de dichas piezas, pero también diera a conocer las culturas de esa zona cultural del norte de México y sureste de Estados Unidos. El edificio, construido ese año, fue proyectado por el arquitecto Mario Schjetnan y tiene un estilo modernista e integrado con el paisaje desértico de su entorno.
