Cabbage Palms (Livistona eastonii) line the rough Port Warrender road across the remote Mitchell Plateau, Kimberley, Western Australia


Livistona eastonii (Mitchell Plateau Fan Palm) is endemic to the remote Mitchell Plateau (Ngauwudu) in the far north of the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The eponymous national park covers the plateau which is home to the Wunambal people.
