August 10 2000. Zobop by Scottish artist Jim Lambie being installed at Southampton Art Gallery as part of British Art Show 5. It was a sensational hit and has since been installed in major galleries Lambie first showed it in 1999 at this first solo exhibition, in London. It went on a regional art gallery tour in 2000 with The British Gallery Art Show 5 and then took off and appeared in Moma, ! Picture by Roger Bamber
