Closeup of an old dead poppy seed head with mildew spots against a black background. Photo was produced using focus stacking to increase the depth of field whilst maintaining maximum sharpness. The result seen here is a composite of 20 images each taken with a slightly different plane of focus. Each image was taken at 50mm focal length at an aperture of f/8 to avoid loss of sharpness due to diffraction.
