Theclmrch has been thoroughly restored since thewiiter saw it, when it was in a most dilapidatedcondition, and one uf its spires was twisted into GERMANY Pompeian house, and it is said tried to live in Wertheim are the ruins of the grand castle ofLOwenstein and an interesting fifteentii ceutinychurch, witli a singular screen and a veryremarkalile sculptured monument representing akniglit in full armour holding the hands of twoladies, one of whom has rather an Eastern typeof face
