MANAMA, Bahrain (July 08, 2018) Rear Adm. James E. Pitts, center, commander, Submarine Group 7, Task Force (TF) 54, presides over a change of command between Capt. Enrique Panlilio, outgoing commander of Submarine Squadron (CSS) 21, left, and Capt. Sean M. Muth, incoming commander of CSS 21, during the squadron’s change of command ceremony on board Naval Support Activity Bahrain. CSS 21’s mission is to bring theater support to deployed units and to provide oversight on submarine training and exercises to support theater operations.
