JONATHAN ONE OF FOUR REALLY GREAT COMMERCIAL APPLES PRODUCTIVENESS, QUALITY, PLACES IT FIRST AMONG APPLES OF ITS SEASON ADAPTED TO HOME, DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN MARKETS The Jonathan is justlv one of our greatest commercial apples. It is hard to equal for hardiness and productive- ness. The apples are smooth and attractively colored, be- ing medium in size. The flesh is firm, crisp, tender, juicy, good quality. An excellent cooking or eating apple. Used extensively as a filler and pollenizing or eating apple. It is especially adapted to the Central and Northern fruit dis- tricts.
