A tube anemone (Ceriannthus filiformis) feeding at night with a partner shrimp (Ancylomenes holshuist) at its base. Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Tube anemones of the species Ceriannthus filiformis have a wide distribution in the Indo-west Pacific regions. When resting, the tentacles are retracted into a tube buried in the substrate. When feeding, usually at night, the tentacles are extended to catch small prey. The partner shrimp (Ancylomenes holthuisi) has a symbiotic relationship with the anemone.
