The Cathedral of the Holy and Undivided Trinity also known as Carlisle Cathedral is the seat of the diocese of Carlisle, and the second small st ancient Cathedral in England. It dates from 1123, though it may have been built on the site of an earlier church. It was built in the Norman style but a lot of it later rebuilt in the Gothic. There have been various additions since then.
