When sharpening becareful to keep the blades perfectly straight and havethe cutting edge beveled equally from both sides, alsobear in mind that the blades should all be exactly thesame length after being sharpened and replaced inthe hammer, as illustrated by dotted line at c, other-wise should the blades be uneven the hammer will notdo good work, while the blades will have a tendencyto break at the cutting edge.
