Jenkin Lloyd Jones, a Unitarian minister and social worker with his wife, Edith Lackersteen, a long-time co-worker, on board the Oscar II, Henry Ford's "Peace Ship," which traveled on a Peace Mission to Europe, 1915-1916. Jenkin Lloyd Jones enlisted in 1862 in the 6th Battery of the Wisconsin Volunteer Army during the Civil War. After the war he became a outspoken pacifist.
