Although the descent has its peculiar difficulties, it is accomplish-ed in a much shorter time than the ascent. Our travelers reach-ed their place of sojourn in the vale about 2 oclock , wherethey found dinner had been waiting some time, and the turkeyoverdone. The descent from the hotel to the foot of the Peaks affords anumber of striking views, well worthy of record by pen and SOUTH PEAK, FROM THE SPRING.
