MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif.— Mrs. Alesia Williams, an accessioning technician at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton’s Laboratory Department, logs in and labels specimens that were sent from NHCP’s inpatient ward Jan. 19, 2016. Williams and her fellow staff members process and test approximately 3,000 specimens on a daily basis. She is an Oceanside, Calif. resident and has worked at NHCP laboratory for 21 years. The lab, 16 point-of-care-testing sites within the hospital, and the local branch health clinics are nationally certified by The College of American Pathologists, Food and Drug
