220504-N-GB257-001 Charleston, (May 04, 2022) Standing outside Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, local high schooler Adam Womble in part credited the education and experiences gained in NIWC Atlantic STEM programs for inspiring him to pursue engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU). The Hanahan High School student, who graduates later this month, is receiving over $200,000 from a Roy H. Park Foundation scholarship that enables exceptional students to study at NCSU.
