A European (PAL) Sega Saturn home console from Sega is shown with its official control pad plugged in, on a bed of its best games in their original retail packaging. Saturn was the primary competition for Sony's PlayStation in the 32-bit generation console wars. Released by surprise in 1994, the system was discontinued in Europe in 1998, but left behind a catalogue of high-quality arcade conversions like Sega Rally Championship, Virtua Fighter 2 and Manx TT Superbike. Other exclusives like Burning Rangers and NiGHTS into Dreams from Sonic Team (creators of Sonic the Hedgehog) are also shown.
