NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO - (Dec. 7, 2018) Vice Adm. Rich Brown, Commander, Naval Surface Force, Pacific Fleet, simulates driving a Zumwalt-class DDG at the Zumwalt training facility. Commander, Zumwalt Squadron One is located in San Diego and is responsible for manning, training and equipping the Navy’s next-generation multi-mission Zumwalt-class destroyers designed to strengthen the Navy's ability to provide deterrence, power projection and sea control.
