Pallets of flour, and sugar, are for sale at a Kroger in downtown the past several days shoppers have descended upon local retailers emptying shelves of toilet paper, staples, canned food, disinfectants, and other items while panic shopping due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, which is putting a strain on supply chains, and making it difficult for retailers, and their workers, to keep shelves stocked.
