Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, LA January 7, 2006 - On Greek Orthodox Christmas, Patriarch Bartholomew (right), world leader of the Greek Orthodox Church, visited the 9th ward where it was flooded by Hurricane Katrina. Archbishop Demetrious of America and Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta accompanied the Patriarch on his first ever visit to New Orleans.
