This may be finished in one fire if the greentint is thoroughly dry before painting over CLOVER PLATE—IDA FAILING OUTLINE design in Black. Second Fire.—Paint leavesand stems with Moss Green and a little Violet No. thin wash of Blood Red over the flowers, the dark bandsShading Green, Moss Green and a little Violet. Third Fire—Wash Blood Red and a little Violet No. 2over shadow side of flowers. Light background in bordera thin wash of Brown Green.
