An Italian knightly sword, 2nd half of the 14th century Double-edged blade, the shallow fuller extending on both sides to the point, (strongly faded) imperial orb mark struck within the fuller on one side. Straight cross-guard with widening ends, languet reinforced on both sides, the conical tang with oval iron pommel with bevelled edges. Very well preserved sword with some traces of corrosion at the point. Total length cm, length of blade 82 cm, weight 1105 g.
