In the foreground we see people sitting tables Duffy Square, towards silhouette George M. Cohan Statue, rising at the south end of the square. In the background we see the TV Radio Antenna on top of the Conde Nast Building. This 247m high, 48 storeys skyscraper, the 12 tallest building in New York, opened in 2000. After the twin towers of the World Trade Centre came down in 2001, new locations were sought for the city's radio and TV transmitters, so an old 132 ft high antenna was replaced with a new 385ft antenna on the Conde Nast Building.
