Series E The results of the tests for electrophoretic mobility of the inhibitors may be seen from Table IV and Figures 5 and 6. Of the 172 posterior segments placed in the agar trays, only the 28 with the posterior cut surface facing the positive pole and a well filled with anal collar extract showed any evidence of specific inhibition. The other 144 were essentially unimpaired by the procedures and regenerated normally. Of course there were some failures due to improper wound.
