Carina Nebula features, HST image. These pillars of gas and dust within the Carina Nebula are Herbig-Haro Objects (HH 901 and HH 902). The Carina Nebula is 7500 light years from Earth, in the constellation of Carina. This image, showing an area around 3 light years across, was obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope's WFC3 instrument. It was published in April 2010.
