Robinson, ofPittsburg, Pa., who married Anna, daughterof the late John Oliphant, and Mary nowthe wife of Dr. A. P. Bowie, of (Wilson) Porter was a daughter ofJames Wilso i, a native of Lancaster countv,Pa., born in 1764, and came to Fayettecounty in 1778. He became a large landowner near McClellandtown and served as ajustice of the peace of German township from1807 to 1840. He was married twice, hisfirst wife being Mary H. Robb, and his sec-ond, Elizabeth Lowrie. George Portercompleted his education at Dunlaps Creekacademy, and was thereafter a leading agri-culturist in German township for a periodof twenty years.
