Jared Burns, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, shakes hands with a Royal Cambodian Navy sailor at the conclusion of a field training exercise for Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Cambodia, 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the Navy, Marine Corps, and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
