Chief Master Sgt. Shawn L. Drinkard, Command Chief for Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT) holds the organization’s guidon during a change of command ceremony at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Aug. 30. As command chief, Drinkard advises the AFCENT commander and staff on matters influencing the health, welfare, morale and effective utilization of assigned and deployed personnel. Drinkard has served as the AFCENT Command Chief since June.
