All night the dingoes would set up a most dismal howl that made onesblood nni cold, and the roar and screams of the bears Avould echo through theforest, but Avhen the day broke the singing of the birds and the sweet smellof the different shrubs would make one forget the fears of the night thank God for the beauties of nature.
