Sedona, Arizona, Musical Chimes
Sedona, Arizona is a small city in the northern Verde Valley, straddling the line between Coconino and Yavapai counties. It is famous for the red sandstone formations that encircle the town. They glow a brilliant red and orange at sunrise and sunset. Many people claim the existence of psychic vortexes which supposedly encompass swirling energy, offering healing and uplifting feelings. Pink Jeep Tours offers various tours on rugged off-road adventures showing off Sedona's red rock formations. We took the Broken Arrow Tour following a trail through Coconino National Forest. Everyone was rather worn out from the drive up from Phoenix then the bumpy jeep tour but one last item caught our attention as we returned to the car — musical chimes with mallets so we could actually make music. What a great day.
