Princeton, a town in WorcesterCounty, Massachusetts, is situated about forty-eight milesnorth of west from Boston, fourteen miles north of Wor-cester, and about ten miles southwest from is bounded on the north by Westminster, on the east byLeominster and Sterling, on the south by Holden andRutland, and on the west by Rutland and township is north of the center of the County, andabout equi-distant from its eastern and western boundaries,and occupies a nearly central position in the State asmeasured from Cape Cod to New York. Its geographicalposition is (at Wachusett Mountain) 42° 29 21-21 northlatitude, 71° 53 33-885 west longitude. Its present areais about 23,000 acres or square miles. Surface. The general formation of this locality isrugged and uneven, with abrupt elevations
