An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is a procedure where excess fat and skin is removed from the lower abdomen and the muscles of the abdominal walls are tightened. Here, the surgeons are cutting into the excess abdomen skin (lower centre) while the nipples of the breasts are being stitched (blurred, upper left).
