This day's walk is dedicated to Lance Corporal A Burke, killed in Action on RFA Sir Galahad on 8 June 1982, aged 23. The walk is raising funds for the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal and Combat Stress. Jan Koops is one of the Welsh Guards who conceived the walk and, together with Dai Graham will be walking the entire route. Robinsons Brewery is a major sponsor of Walk on Wales.
