A beautiful summer view from the little fell of Gummers How over Fellfoot Park, at the Southern tip of Windermere and the start of the River Leven. The view continues South West into the Furness area of the South Lakes and the town of Ulverston can be seen in the distance withe Hoad or Sir John Barrow monument a 100 foot tall tower overlooking the town. Gummers How is quite a low fell, but the views from its summit over the English Lake District are superb.
