The establishing of municipaldances met with instant responsefrom the youth of Chicago. Duringthe past winter 43 dances weregiven, with a total paid attendanceof 17,000. The paid admissions ranas follows: December $1, January February $2, co-operation of the police-women and representatives of wo-mens organizations resulted inproper chaperonage of the plan is generally acknowledgedto have been a success.
