210103-N-FO865-2108 INDIAN OCEAN (Jan. 3, 2020) – Navy Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Marissa Martin observes a Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, on the flight deck aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22). The San Diego, with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, and the 15th MEU are conducting operations in the 6th Fleet area of area of responsibility.
