Not represented in the Discovery collections. Geographical distribution. Wilhelm II Land (Kluge); Oates Land (Terra Nova). This species is represented by a few fragments only, but they are quite unmistakable. The spines are attached at the base of the rim of the opesia as shown by Kluge. Ovicells (Fig. 4 A), which were not present on Kluge's material, are to be seen here. The struc- ture in Kluge's fig. 8 which might be mistaken for an ovicell is the projecting rim of the
