(Jan. 25, 2016) Seabees assigned to the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three (NMCB 3) Road Maintenance Repair Crew conduct maintenance on the Assault Vehicle Maneuvering Road (AVMR) which is the main transportation artery for large vehicles and equipment to move about San Clemente Island, and critical to all of the Island’s training evolutions. NMCB 3 is homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif. and is currently deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Its mission is to support Navy and joint forces throughout the Pacific Command with construction projects
