He b} latetrains and special night messengers for-warded his orders to the different com-manders of State Troops, ordering themto report with their commands at Bostonready for immediate departure and duty. McFarlin hustling hislittle company of men together, to proceedto the nearest railroad station about sixmiles away — thence to be conveyed toBoston by the earliest morning train, asthey were, and reported on Boston Com-mon at ten oclock.
