ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 9, 2016) – Seaman Nagi Njuguna, a native of Nairobe, Kenya, mills a universal joint knuckle in the machine shop aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is underway pursuing Mobility-Engineering (MOB-E) and Mobility-Seaman (MOB-S) certifications as part of the ship’s pre-deployment qualification process.
