An early 20th century view of sightseers on a pony and trap passing the Wellington Monument, located in the Phoenix Park, Dublin City, Ireland. The 62 metres (203 ft) tall obelisk designed by Robert Smirke, commemorates the victories of the Duke of Wellington and is the largest obelisk in Europe.

In the interests of transparency (no pun intended) this Photo Chrome image was shot around 1900. The original image has been cleaned, sharpened and enhanced. The sky was bleached out so a new sky has been introduced.
