It was found by Abbe Bourgeois in the Grotto of Rochbertier (Oharente), and is in the museum of the Ecole d'Anthropologic, Paris. It is from the same department as the baton de conimandement of Montgardier (). Fig. 71 represents a frag- ment of reindeer horn of which two tines or palms have been sculptured in the form of horses' heads. It is from the Grotto Mas d'Azil (Ariege) and belongs to the collection of Judge Piette.
