Livingstone's Eland at a wildlife ranch near Melkrivier, Limpopo Province, South Africa. Livingstone's Eland, a subspecies of Common Eland, are not native to South Africa - they are naturally found in the south-central Africa but are prized by some game ranchers because they are larger and have more prominent stripes than the Cape Eland subspecies native to South Africa, and hence make better hunting trophies. 22 October 2016 ©Adam Welz
